A Bad Diagnosis for the Current Generations

In full force and yet anxious, youth health is in constant challenge. Here is the portrait of many young people today. And yet no one prevents them from staying more outdoors, drinking tea, eating kefir and leaving the phone.

How do you explain anxiety episodes in very young people?

The most common cause of anxiety is the inability of young people to cope with stress, feelings of insecurity and uncertainty, anxiety about the future. Young anxious people accuse lack of self-confidence, feeling of inadequacy, excessive timidity, tendency to retreat and isolation. Like pain, anxiety can be a signal that warns the body is overstretched. If the fear of a real, justified danger teaches us prudence, anxiety teaches us avoidance.

What are the causes?

The most important cause seems to be heredity, that is, those features transmitted from the family that relates to irritability, nervousness, depression, intolerance to frustration, and inhibitions of any kind. Another important cause of youth anxiety is the failure to resolve unconscious conflicts dating back to their first childhood, which psychoanalysts call neurotic anxiety, resulting from unacceptable impulses (sexuality, aggression, etc.).

Then the environment is another very important cause of anxiety, the anxious young people reporting a whole collection of stressful life events (separation, death, conflicts with others, change of residence, change of profession, additional tasks, status-rotation changes etc. ).

After the correct diagnosis and the beginning of the medical treatment accompanied by psycho-therapeutic support, it is recommended to work but not in excess, the various walks out of the routine area, the change of leisure concerns, alternative therapeutic pamphlets (massage, sauna, spa, ) and a lot of energy-saving movement. Physically, anxiety is manifested by tremors, muscle contractions, abnormal sweating, vertigo, migraines, insomnia, indigestion, chills, hot flashes. Therapy involves, among other things, gradual exposure to the anxiogenic context, a process called systematic desensitization. Anxiety management techniques as well as exercise and relaxation techniques (hypnotherapy, meditation, breathing exercises), but with medication, including anxiolytic and sedative antidepressants, are also used.

Untreated anxiety can have serious effects on the person’s life and relationships! Although about three out of ten mature individuals suffer at some point of anxiety, this disorder can be fortunately treated. Psychotherapy – Studies have confirmed that cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy is particularly effective in treating depression and anxiety. By understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, people can escape irrational fears, and the quality of their lives can grow tremendously.

In today’s society, the speed in which we live – as it sounds, we live our lives at high speed – created emotional instability among the masses, and youth stress, anxiety, and depression are clear answers that we lost control of our lives and that we need a break , we must re-balance ourselves and give back youth health.
